  • Offer pastoral support and ensure safety for young people

  • Lead and coordinate after-school and holiday clubs

  • Work closely with schools, families, and partners to boost engagement

  • Manage program logistics and create reports for funders

  • 30 hours per week, with flexible hours to fit the academic calendar

  • Salary: Β£26,325 FTE

Requirements: Experience with young people, behaviour management, and safeguarding, plus a full driving licence and First Aid certification.

Join us as an Outreach Worker to provide vital pastoral care and wellbeing support for young people through after-school clubs, holiday activities, and wellbeing programmes. This role fosters a safe, positive environment for young people, working closely with families, schools, and partners.

πŸ“‹ Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group support

  • Assist with the delivery of clubs and wellbeing programmes

  • Coordinate with parents, school staff, and partners

  • Maintain records and support reporting for funding

πŸ“… Hours & Salary:

  • 22.5 hours per week (Monday–Thursday), including two evenings

  • Β£24,862.50 FTE

Requirements: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience, safeguarding knowledge, and a valid driver’s licence.

  • We're looking for enthusiastic Course Assistants to support young people and tutors during holiday and after-school clubs. As a role model, you'll inspire with positivity, uphold our values, and help organise activities that encourage engagement and fun!

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support tutors in running activities like sport, art, or drama

    • Supervise groups, ensuring young people are safe, engaged, and demonstrating positive behaviour

    • Set up and maintain equipment, ensuring a clean and safe environment

    Details:

    • Self-employed, sessional work primarily during school holidays (Feb, Easter, Summer)

    • Hours: Approx. 8am–4pm

    • Must be 18+ and have a passion for working with young people

  • Are you passionate about helping young people build confidence and skills in the water? We're looking for an enthusiastic, qualified Swimming Teacher to deliver inspiring lessons every Thursdays 4.15-7.15pm at Polam Swim School, Bedford!

    What You'll Do:
    🏊 Teach 5 engaging sessions, tailored to swimmers aged 5–16 and at various skill levels
    🌟 Adapt lessons to bring out the best in each swimmer, from beginners to intermediate levels
    πŸ“ˆ Track and support each swimmer’s progress with simple evaluations

    Requirements:
    Must hold a Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification or equivalent.
